Dr. Thomas Rhodes, of Memphis, Tenn., spent awhile at Mr. R P

Blackwood's Sunday p.m. His grandfather, Dr. William Rhodes, left

Orange county some time in 1830 and went to Tennessee. Dr. Rhodes

is at Raleigh on business and expects to be in this section again

in interest of his ancestry.
