Pondexter, will be away to Missouri, to do duty in the lead mining regions. July 21, 12:15 am, at the residence of Dr. j. T. McColgan, of Arcot, Mr. Bernice B. Williamson, aged 39 years, died of collapse from rupture of Hegatic Abscess. Miss Ada Hamilton and Allie Bailey are attending a singing school on "Natty's Branch" Tis surprising to hear them sing since their great improvement in the art. Misses Minnie Hamilton and Mary Plumlee went to Hilham last week. Misses Fannie Hamiltona nd Gertrude Whitefield visited Mr. and Mrs. Will Waddle Thursday. John Butler moved here last week. John J. Butler went to Kentucky Saturday. Mrs. Mary Hamilton and B. G. Johnson and wife went to Celina this week. D. C. Mitchell returned from Glasgow, Ky Saturday. ************************
