Stout Retha P. Stout, 86, 691 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, formerly of Stoney Creek, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Hermitage Health Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Stout was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late John and Bessie Hurley Pritchard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Stout, two sons, Kenneth and Donley Stout, and a daughter, Ruby Jones. Mrs. Stout was a retired employee of Bemberg Industries. Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Nickles, Johnson City, and Hazel Shelton, Bristol, and two brothers, Homer Pritchard and Herman Pritchard, both of Elizabethton. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Stout, 86, 691 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, formerly of Stoney Creek, who died Monday, July 31, 2000, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Rev. Orville Stokes officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 3, at Garland Cemetery in Stoney Creek. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her sister, Myrtle Nickles, 691 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, any time.
