CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - James A. Glover, 19 Apr 1936 ----¤¤¤---- Obituary appeared in the Monday, April 20, 1936 Elizabethton Star James A. Glover, 76, died Sunday morning at his home on Gap Creek. He was a member of the Jr. O.U.A.M. Council No. 1. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. M.S. Murray, Mrs. Wheeler Merritt and Mrs. Cyrus Sims of Oklahoma; and one brother, Hamp Glover. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at two o clock at the South Side Mission with the Rev. John Hall and Rev. G.H. Laws officiating. Interment was in the Murray Cemetery. Active pallbearers were nephews of the deceased and flower bearers were his nieces. Honorary pallbearers were Will Robers, T.A. Dugger, R.N. Clark, J.M. Moreland, Charlie Vance, Robert Ensor, Fred Perryman, P.G. Range and James L.
