Anna Christine Brock Franklin, 76, Arnold Avenue, Elizabethton, went 
to be with the Lord on Monday, November 22, 2004, at Life Care Center of 
Elizabethton following a brief illness.

Mrs. Franklin was a native of Carter County. She was a homemaker and was 
of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-
grandmother and sister. She leaves her family with a wonderful legacy of 
love, caring and giving.

Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Hall, a brother, 
John Brock, and her mother, Donnie Peters Brock.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Ray Franklin; daughter, Connie 
Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jeff Lyons; son, Stephen Ray Franklin 
and girlfriend, Tammy Vanhoy; sister and brother-in-law, Ethel "D" and Earl 
Ward; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grady and Pat Franklin, William and June 
Franklin and Teen Franklin; grandchildren, Selena Hall, Benji Whitehead and 
Cheri Clavier and her husband, John; a great-grandson, John Jackson Clavier; 
and a special friend, Ronnie D. Hall.

Memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, at 
Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. Jonas Revis 
officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday 
at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence. To those who 
prefer, memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Valley Forge Free Will 
Baptist Church, 1503 Riverview Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643. A special 
thanks to the staff and employees of Johnson City Medical Center Hospital 
and Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Inurnment will be done privately at a 
later date.
