CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - John Bell Brock, 22 Mar 2004

John Bell Brock, 80, Spruce Lane, Elizabethton, died Monday, March 22, 2004 
in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
He was a Carter County native.
Mr. Brock was a retired mechanic.
He attended Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Brock, and his mother, 
Donnie Peters Brock.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Harvey, of Farmington, Mich.; 
Penny King and Marie Suttler, both of Gray; three sons, William Alfred 
Brock, Max Brock and Ernest Brock, all of Elizabethton; two sisters and 
brothers-in-law, Ethel and Earl Ward and Anna and Ray Franklin, all of 
Elizabethton; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special friend, 
Doran Greenwell, also survives.
The funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 
2004 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Burleson officiating. 
The graveside service and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 
25, 2004 in the Highland Cemetery. Bill Anderson will provide the music. 
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 
funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50
