Blevins Mrs. Ruby R. Blevins, 79, 259 Abbeyville Road, Medina, Ohio, died at her residence Monday, Oct. 2, 2000. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Winters Perry. Mrs. Blevins had lived in Ohio for the past 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Blevins; a son, Bruce Blevins; a daughter, Mabel; a sister, Mabel "Pete" Estep; three brothers: Tracy, Halder, and Murial Perry; and a grandson, Benny Sproles. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Blevins and Ellen and Mark Schlenkerman, all of Medina, Ohio; one son and two daughters- in-law, William and July Blevins, Johnson City, and Ann Blevins, Elizabethton; one sister, Ollie Maupin, Johnson City; 11 grandchildren: Sharon, Darrel, Richard, Johnny, Randy, Jennifer, Joey, Lori, Deeanna, Pete, and Sandra; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. BLEVINS -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby R. Blevins, 79, 259 Abbeyville Road, Medina, Ohio, who died Monday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joseph W. Manis officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the George Mottern Cemetery. pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a daughter-in-law, Ann Blevins, 192 Old Watauga Road,Watauga. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
